Jill was born into a family of artists and photographers.
Her father, Gerry was a renowned portrait photographer who specialized in childrens portraits. His work is on permanent display at The White House. He was the editor of Design Magazine for many years, as well as being the author of many childrens books. Her older brother Steve, is a very successful aerial photographer, and younger brother Chris and mother Julie also do portrait photography.

Jill started doing her own landscape photography several years ago on a photography trip around New England with her friend Jacob McKean. She started out photographing the "Cape Light" prevelent on Cape Cod MA. It lasts just moments and is quite unique to that area.
She has since relocated to the West Coast and now lives in Littlerock, in the Mojave Desert of Southern California.
It is a much different world living in the desert...She now has Joshua trees and the wide open spaces to photograph ! Being an active member of Betterphoto.com and WebAperture.com has introduced her to many local photographers to go on shooting expeditions with. Recent trips have been to Mono Lake, Bodie Ghost town, Los Angeles, Venice Beach, Las Vegas, and many other ghost towns!
Her work is internationally known and has been shown in many local galleries. She also had her photographs published in the Provincetown Pocketbook for 4 years, Cape Cod Magazine, and the Cape Cod Guide.
She has also spent time traveling throughout the Southwest with her camera, capturing the spirituality of places like Chaco Canyon, Arches National Park, Canyonlands Park, and many other locations in Utah, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona. Now that she has relocated to the West Coast, she has a whole new world to photograph.
Her photographs are available as matted handsigned prints, posters, or photo cards. They will be shipped in protective plastic sleeves.

Club Ed :
Club Ed is a movie set built in 1991 in Lancaster Ca. This is the location where the new Rob Zombie film "The Devil's Rejects" was filmed...:-)
The Ice Cube movie "Torque" was filmed there, as well as "Eye of the Storm" with Dennis Hopper and Lara Flynne Boyle, and "Nothing to Lose" with Martin Lawrence and Tim Robbins. Many music videos and photo shoots have been done there also. Jill has been given permission to photograph Club Ed, but these photos are Not For Sale unfortunately at this time...
This is private property with signs all over stating that NO photography is allowed without permission. You need to call and ask first, DO NOT go there and just start shooting. The guys in charge there are very nice , they went out of their way to be welcoming to me several times, opening up the diner so I could shoot inside, and giving me the run of the place as long as I wanted. They are often making movies, music videos etc. there, so it changes it's appearence often.

These were taken during an REO Speedwagon/Styx concert in Palmdale CA. I have since gotten advice , so better luck next time hopefully :-)
I managed to get pretty close up for REO, but for Styx, it was almost impossible to get close, everyone was dancing around and jumping etc...I got stepped on and elbows in the face etc. But still came out of it with a few ok shots :-)
